9-9-99 turns 9-- update

Here is an update of the exciting events for Emily's birthday. She was a great help for preschool. I wish I could have her every time it's my turn. After preschool we went to lunch at Golden Corral--Emily's favorite place. We then went to Target and Emily used her birthday money from Grandma and Grandpa Larsen and Grandma and Grandpa Jensen for a DS puppy game. On the way home from Target she played the DS the whole time and got car sick. She threw up when she got home. Good times! We tried to go and get her nails done but she had to throw up again on our way. We ended up going home and relaxing and taking it easy. By evening time she was feeling a lot better so we went and tried again with the nails. It was a success. She was so excited and loves how they turned out. She then had her friend Paige come over and Paige gave her a darling skirt and a changeable watch. She also got the 3D Hannah Montana DVD from the Vances. Thanks to everyone for making her birthday great. All in all I think she had a fun and eventful 9th birthday. We sure love our sweet girl and are so grateful she is a part of our family. Last but not least her beautiful nails (that are not recommended for 9 year olds) so I guess we will see how it goes.
