Valentines

I love Valentines.  Such a great holiday!  This year I found a cute idea on Pinterest to do a crazy dinner.  We had a lot of fun!  D gave me two sets of flowers.  Love them and him.  It was a great day!

Here are a few pictures I took for instagram.  I love instagram.  It's my kind of thing...pictures.  Half of the time around here Hay is pretend pregnant.  Above is a picture of her doing the dishes for me for a surprise barefoot and pregnant.  Love that girl!

Young Women's

For Em's young women's new beginnings they had the girls dress up in formals.  They did a fashion show theme.  It was such a wonderful night.  Em looked beautiful in her dress.

Disneyland

I had the fun opportunity to go with my cousin and some friends to Disneyland.  It was a quick trip but really fun.  The new cars ride was great!  Fun memories!

Flowers

 I've been going through some pictures tonight trying to see what I need to blog about and found these I took last spring/summer.  I love the one above because it reminds me of my Grandma.  She always had peonies in her yard.  I planted these bulbs a couple of years ago in remembrance of her and last spring this is what I got.  I LOVE it!  It especially makes me excited for spring to come in a few months.  The other 2 pictures are of the Hollyhocks I have in Wyatt's garden.  Another favorite of mine.  I'm getting excited for what is in store in a few months from now.:)

Lights and Organization

 We enjoy having the lights over our dinner table during the winter months.  I keep them up until Valentines day.  We love the ambiance it makes.

January is typically my month of organization.  Here is one of those such projects.

Happy New Year

 We had just gotten home from our California trip just in time for New Years.  We had a little party with just our family. We played the Wii, had lots of treats and celebrated the new year with a bang.

California with cousins

Part of our Christmas this year was a trip to California with some cousins.  It was such a fun trip.  We love spending time with the Larsen family.  Great memories!  We spent time at the beach, swimming at the hotel, playing games, shopping, enjoying the sunset at the ocean, going to the Newport temple grounds, eating yummy food and spend a morning at IKEA.  So much fun!!  Can't get much better than that!

It was so fun to enjoy the beach and sunshine.  So beautiful!

After we saw the sunset we stopped off at Trader Joe's.  Wish so bad we lived by one so I could take some of these lovelies home with me.  One of my absolute favorite flowers.
