Staycation
One of our most treasured memories each year is the week we get to stay at my parents condo for our Staycation. We enjoy playing the wii, swimming, 4 wheeling, golfing and this year enjoying the Olympics. We also enjoy eating good food. This year Em wanted to make a quilt for one of her Young Women projects so we decided to make it while we were there. We spent some good family time together...not to far from our home. Always a treasured memory!
We did this puzzle too.

Feeding ducks/Hill rolling
On our list of fun things to do this summer we had "feeding the ducks." We decided to go do that one friday evening. The girls loved it!
After feeding the ducks they wanted to roll down this hill. The grass was a little sharp so they had a few scraps on their arms but that just added to the memory.:) After this we went and got a frozen yogurt. Good memories!

24th of July
We started out on the 24th with going to the annual parade in our town. Hay was in it for our ward riding her scooter. After the parade we hooked up with some friends and a couple of cousins from up north. We then went swimming, to dinner and then a backstage tour of Tuacahn. We ended the night with seeing Hairspray along with an incredible fireworks show...so awesome! Tuacahn has to be one of my most favorite places to watch fireworks from. The echo in the canyon makes it even more incredible. We got to see Hairspray so many times this summer and it was amazing. Love that show. Hay was especially obsessed and is always dancing and singing the songs around the house. We had a fun day spent with friends and family. So grateful for the people in our lives.

Fairy House
One of the fun activities we did this summer was to make a fairy house. Hay made one while we were in Hatch. It was a lot of fun.
Another fun activity we did this summer was making a marshmellow tower.
